bio
Formed in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, Sniper quickly established itself as one of the leading groups of French rap in the 2000s. Featuring Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj, the group made its mark with Du rire aux larmes, Gravé dans la roche and Trait pour trait. Combining socially conscious lyrics, sharp observations and stories drawn from everyday life, Sniper developed a distinctive and deeply human sound. After several lineup changes, Aketo and Tunisiano continue to bring Sniper to the stage, blending iconic classics with new material.
